The 56.7 miles of day 2 saw some of the gnarliest bails. 2nd place Jeff Vyain tore open his thigh/butt (pic here for people who want to see!) and race organiser Marion Spears Karr fell and badly injured his knee. 2 of the three hospitalisations on the day. Jeff managed to skate the remianing 40 or so miles. Insane.
