Last Sunday saw the 1st Push Race to take place on French soil. Around 75 people came together from all over France and further afield to take part. It was almost certainly the biggest event to be held in Paris this year.
After a chaotic ‘Le Mans’ style start, the racers sprinted around the damp and humid 9km course set in the Bois de Boulogne on the West side of Paris. It was short but varied, with uphill, downhill and flat sections. Everyone went all out through the leaves, gravel and puddles to pit their pushing skills against the pack.
The results of the race were as follows:
1st place: Romain Bessière & Antoine Badin (Mastaflex) 19mins 48secs
2nd place: Eric Guérin (Rike) + 20mins
3rd place: Petr Pufler (From Prague!)
4th place: Laurent Perigault (Eneone)
More information here or in the forum thread. A big thank you goes out to all who came along or who supported the event and made sure that it went off.
