Done and dusted. In just over three weeks, the Skate4Kenya crew Les Robertson and Rob Foxall sucessfully completed their 440 kilometre journey from Nairobi to Mombasa. From the write-up of their adventure on their blog, it’s been as grueling as it has been rewarding. They’ve had crashes, crazy drivers and almost unskate-able roads. Not forgetting the insane temperatures.
This trek has been in support of the Sauder School of Business Africa Initiative: Social Entrepreneurship 101 and aims to raise $20,000 to open a business training centre year round in Nairobi, Kenya. This would provide business mentorship and opportunity to youths living in one of the continent’s largest slums. Check out their site or their Facebook page and show your support!
